Karl presented his new CHANEL Cruise 2013/14 collection.Held at the Loewen Cluster, the legendary fashion designer graced the event, along with some other famous faces, including Hollywood star Dakota Fanning, Carine Roitfeld, Andre Leon Talley, Cara Delevingne, Esther Heesch, Lindsay Wixson and Caroline de Maigret, Lagerfeld’s “muse”. According to Chanel, Singapore was chosen for the event as it “is the ultimate cruise destination”. The original idea of “going on a cruise” stems from the desire to escape cold winters for a warmer climate and to enjoy an exotic place in the sun and since Singapore has summer all the time, it made a perfect fit. The collection itself resembles the desire of warmer days perfectly.
