The Coveteur, one of the coolest blogs around and one of the first fashion blogs I was hanging out on, just sat down with A$AP Rocky to cover his favourite belongings and to listen to his wise words. When it comes to his closet, A$AP shares the very same philosophy we do about recycling our wardrobe. “I wear it over and over and over. Like, it’s yours. People think you’re a celebrity so you can only be seen once. I’m a human. What I do, what the smartest thing to do, is take something from a collection, wear it now and then seven months from now you put it away in the archives and then bring it out three years later.” A$AP calls himself a “scavenger shopper,” telling us he used to (and still does!) hit up consignment stores for cheap high-end clothes.

“I don’t want to work with Karl ; it’s too cliché.”

The Balenciaga Floral Print

BALLINCIAGA. Since spring has a huge delay this year it’s okay to write a last “what to wear SS 2013″ post. This print caught my eyes while watching the new Asap Rocky video , which was released today. Balenciaga optimized the floral print for this season, very subtle, artistic and the colours work perfectly together. The white jacket is the perfect spring/summer bomber jacket I’ve seen so far.

Even more wearable is the Black-Blue version. This floraled-out rendition of their classic bomber jacket brings out the best of black-meets-blue, with a touch of pale pink. Two front pockets, a black back panel, polyester body, and a rayon lining to top it all off make up the construction of this unisex fashion statement.

Take a trip to the slums of the Domenican Republic with A$AP Rocky and none other than American dubstep ambassador Skrillex and Parisian bass trio Birdy Nam Nam. Another insane visual by Mr Rocky, the video is a bit nonsense though.

ASAP. The release of A$AP’s first album is only 24 days ahead. He really took his time with the release, the first single “Goldie” was released back in April. Everything pointed to a perfect album release, but as always nothing is as it seems. It has been leaked. Long Live A$AP goes around the world and there is nothing A$AP can do about it. ASAP. Pretty Flacko steht endlich vor seinem Sprung ins große Musikbusiness mit seinem ersten Album “Long Live A$AP”. Er hat sich mit seinem Meisterwerk lange Zeit gelassen, die erste Single Auskopplung “Goldie” wurde ja schon im April releaset. Es hätte der perfekte Start sein können, aber ihm wurde ein großer Strich durch die Rechnung gemacht. Das komplette Werk wurde bereits geleaket, 24 Tage vor dem großen Tag. Ihr bekommt hier nicht das ganze Album zu hören, da ich kein Fan von Leaks bin, aber 2 Tracks möchte ich nicht vorenthalten. Long Live A$AP und Phoenix.
