KYOTO. Showcasing the recent SX-70 Polaroid camera for The Impossible Project and its capabilities, NIGO displays a few samples at his IMPOSSIBLE for BAPE exhibition at BAPE GALLERY KYOTO this week.With photographers such as Keiichi Nitta, Meisa Fujishiro, TAKAHIROMIYASHITA, Takashi Kumagai, Tetsu Nishiyama and NIGO himself, the gallery displays the original Polaroid images as well as 900mm prints of each for sale to the general public for ¥150,000 JPY (approximately $1,919 USD). The film used by each artist are of original design, with either a super-imposed Ape Head or camouflage overlay visible over the image once developed. In addition to the artwork on the wall, a NIGO photograph and his own camera are presented for guests to check out. KYOTO. In seiner neuen Impossible for BAPE Ausstellung in der BAPE Gallery KYOTO stellt Nigo ein paar Samples seiner vor kurzem releasten SX-70 Polaroid Kamera zur schau. Die Ausstellung zeigt eine Bandbreite von originalen Polaroid Shots und 900mm prints zum Kauf für die Allgemeinheit. Die Bilder sind nicht alle von NIGO, der erfolgreiche Designer und Musiker stellt hier Werke von Keiichi Nitta, Meisa Fujishiro, Takahiromiyashita, Takashi Kumagai und Tetsu Nishiyama aus. Jeder Film der von den Photographen benutzt wurde hat ein besonderes Design, dadurch wird ein ikonischer Ape-Head oder ein Camouflage Muster sichtbar sobald das Bild entwickelt wurde. Keine BAPE Ausstellung ohne Apes. Die Ausstellung ist gestern in die Startlöcher gegangen und läuft bis zum 21. Oktober.
